1. Who We Are

This website and tournament (“Sem’s Summer Splash Cup 2025”) are independently organized by Sem and the community for entertainment and friendly competition. Epic Games is not responsible for this event and does not operate or oversee it.

2. What Information We Collect

Epic Games Username (Display Name): We collect your Epic Games display name when you register. This is used to identify you in brackets, results, and for event communication.
Epic Games Account ID: Collected during login for integrity and duplicate prevention.
No Sensitive Data: We do not collect your Epic Games password, payment information, or physical address. We do not collect your email except for necessary communication, and your password is never seen by us.
No Location or In-Person Data: This is an online-only event. We do not track or store your location.

3. How We Use Your Information

To track participants and ensure fair play and eligibility.
To display participant usernames in brackets, leaderboards, or results.
To communicate event details or urgent updates (usually via Discord or email if you provide it).
To verify that each participant registers only once and is using their own Epic Games account.

4. How We Share Your Information

Event Staff Only: Your Epic Games username and account ID are visible to tournament staff for organization and integrity checks.
Private Discord: We may post your username in a private Discord staff channel for organizational purposes.
Public Brackets/Results: Your Epic Games username may be shown on public tournament brackets/results. Your account ID is never public.
No Sale or 3rd Parties: We never sell or rent your information to anyone. We do not share with advertisers or outside companies.

5. Data Security

We take reasonable precautions to protect your information. Only trusted staff have access to registration data. No passwords or sensitive details are ever stored.

6. Cookies & Analytics

We do not use cookies, trackers, analytics, or advertising technologies. You are not profiled or tracked on this site.

7. Data Retention & Deletion

Registration data is kept only as long as needed for the tournament. After the event and results are finalized, Epic Games IDs and registration records are deleted within 30 days. Public leaderboards may continue to show your username as part of event history.

8. Your Rights

You may request removal of your registration and data at any time before the tournament by contacting us.
You may request removal of your username from public results pages after the event by contacting us.

9. Children’s Privacy

You must meet Epic Games’ age requirements to participate. We do not knowingly collect information from children under 13. If you are under 18, a parent or guardian’s consent is required for prizes.
